Change is bound to happen when a new year rolls around, and The Daily Show With Trevor Noah spent no time switching things up in 2016. The news program debuted a remix of its “Dog on Fire” theme song Monday night, courtesy of rapper-producer Timbaland.

The Daily Show has been using various takes on “Dog on Fire” — originally written by Bob Mould and re-recorded by They Might Be Giants — as its intro and outro music since the show debuted in 1996. The fresh cut boasts a faster beat and jazzier vibe than the guitar-heavy version it replaced.

Timbaland’s spin on The Daily Show theme comes just over a week after he released a 17-song mixtape that he dedicated to the late Aaliyah.

The Daily Show With Trevor Noah airs weekdays at 11p.m. ET on Comedy Central.
