The latest collection from Third Man Records will be a retroactive peep at some of founder and owner Jack White’s earliest works. The Vault Package #27, available via subscription only, will be comprised of live recordings of White’s ’90s bands Two Star Tabernacle, the Go, and Jack White and the Bricks. All the songs were written by the star.

Pressed on gold vinyl, each of the three LPs will feature unheard original songs — several of which went on to become White Stripes standards. The Two Star Tabernacle had early versions of “Hotel Yorba,” which the rocker still visits during his live sets, and “Now Mary.” Jack White and the Bricks includes another current crowd favorite, “Dead Leaves & The Dirty Ground,” along with “Candy Cane Children” and “You’ve Got Her In Your Pocket.”

Also in the set are two tracks from Jack White’s heaviest band, The Dead Weather. “Let Me Through” and “Be Still,” off their latest album Dodge & Burn, are featured..

All of the throwback tracks were recorded at Detroit’s venue Gold Dollar in either 1998 or 1999. The set also includes reproductions of flyers, set lists, and a Third Man Records Challenge Coin, which gives the subscriber 10% off any purchase in Third Man’s Nashville or newly-opened Detroit store. It also works as a large hole 45 adaptor for a record player because, why not.

Subscribers must sign up for the package before Jan. 1. Hear three clips of the above tunes streaming below.
