Daddy's Home costars Mark Wahlberg, Will Ferrell have playground insult war

Posted on

BBC Radio 1

Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell compete as dad vs. stepdad in their new film Daddy’s Home, but two make worthy (and hilarious) adversaries off-screen too.

The pair squared off on BBC Radio 1 in a game of exchanging playground insults, with the first star to make the other laugh crowned the winner.

Wahlberg’s first shot is harmless enough (“You’re not a nice person”), but things pick up steam from there. Ferrell tells his costar he smells “like baby barf,” Walhberg says Ferrell is a “poor man’s Mike Myers,” and Ferrell retorts, “If I was on a desert island and had a choice between eating a Wahlburger or a raw, dead fish, I’d eat the dead fish.”

In the end, it’s Wahlberg that breaks after Ferrell brings up New Kids on the Block and Ashey Ace. Watch the entire exchange above (but be warned, it contains some strong language).

Daddy’s Home is in theaters now.
