While Arnold Schwarzenegger starred in Ivan Reitman’s original 1990 action comedy, his Expendables co-star, Dolph Lundgren, is subbing as the heroic undercover cop in Kindergarten Cop 2

Schwarzenegger’s Detective John Kimble had to go undercover as a kindergarten teacher in order to sniff out a fugitive. Lundgren’s Agent Reed finds himself in a similar scenario: He has to go undercover to recover a stolen flash drive from the Witness Protection Program. Because this is now 2015, Reed will also grapple with the school’s politically correct culture.

About.com was the first to debut the batch of new photos, and by the looks of them, Lundgren will have his hands full with feather boas, finger paint, and crazy tykes.

Kindgergarten Cop 2 is directed by Don Michael Paul (Tremors 5: Bloodlines), written by David H. Steinberg (American Pie 2), and also stars Bill Bellamy (Hot in Cleveland). The film will be released on DVD and Blu-ray next year.
