Jon Stewart reunited with Stephen Colbert on Thursday night, days after Stewart made a return trip to the Daily Show for the first time since stepping away from the show in August.
Stewart crashed Colbert’s Late Show monologue to discuss the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act, which helps Sept. 11 first responders receive health care.
“Everybody wants that,” Colbert said. Responded Stewart: “Everybody human.”
As Stewart explained, members of Congress have been slow to extend the Zadroga Act. During his return trip to The Daily Show this week, Stewart went to Washington D.C. with a group of first responders to “shame” Congress members.

But is Stewart’s message getting across? On The Late Show, as he discussed the Zadroga Act, Colbert was bored. “That’s got no zazz,” Colbert said, before urging Stewart to be more like Donald Trump when speaking about the health care issue.
“The media won’t pay attention to anything at all unless you are Donald Trump,” Colbert added, and then put a Trump wig on Stewart’s head and rubbed his face with Cheetos dust.
Stewart then busted out his Trump impression — a mix of Andrew Dice Clay and a 1950s dock worker? — to incite viewers to contact their Congress members. Stewart/Colbert 2016? Watch below.
