Posted on

We said goodbye to Don Draper and hello to Adele. Whether we were getting to know Supergirl or supervillains, 2015 turned our emotions Inside Out. So join us as we revisit the year’s most unforgettable moments in EW’s annual Best & Worst issue.

Senior Editor Tina Jordan painstakingly combed through pages upon pages to name the 10 best fiction and nonfiction books of the year, as Critic Chris Nashawaty spent hours in theaters to identify the best and worst in movies throughout 2015. On the TV front, Critics Jeff Jensen and Melissa Maerz each delivered their own takes on the year’s best and worst shows, celebrating newcomers like Mr. Robot and Master of None and bidding adieu to veterans like Mad Men. Staff members came together to highlight the best in gaming and music, and Correspondent Marc Snetiker celebrated the 10 best stage shows of the year.

Inside the issue, we’ve compiled the top outtakes from our star-studded photo shoots, full of candid moments with the likes of Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and the cast of Star Wars, and caught up with heavyweights from Viola Davis to Jon Hamm as they reflected on their biggest moments from 2015. Find out who came out on top across the board, plus catch EW’s favorite breakout performers, retrospective quizzes, a tribute to the late, great performers we lost this year, a behemoth Bullseye, complete with 12 months of hits and misses, and a dive into the year’s wildest trends.
