It’s been just over four months, but Jon Stewart is back at the desk. The former Daily Show host will appear as a guest on Monday night’s show as the distinguished Senior Jon Stewart Correspondent, the program’s Twitter account announced.
Last week, Stewart accompanied Sept. 11 first responders and Congressional representatives to Washington D.C. to urge the passing of a healthcare bill for those who worked on 9/11 14 years ago. Per the tweet, that’s what he’ll be discussing with Trevor Noah, his Daily Show successor.
It’s the 53-year-old first time back on the show since the Aug. 6 finale. Noah took the reins on Sept. 28.
The Daily Show airs Mondays through Thursday at 11 p.m. ET on Comedy Central.
