Bill Cosby once mentored Bob Saget, but it seems unlikely that Saget will seek advice from the embattled 78-year-old again: In a new interview with HuffPost Live, Saget says the dozens of sexual assault allegations against Cosby have “tarnished” his reputation.
“Any human being that does things that are despicable to other human beings will be slightly tarnished by history,” Saget said in response to a fan asking if Cosby’s legacy is tarnished. “I think the answer is obvious, that the man has been tarnished, and it’s just sad for all of the people involved.”

Saget went on to acknowledge Cosby’s influence on stand-up comedy and say that he “had respect for Cosby.” The Fuller House star added, “So you do find out the people you look up to, unfortunately, they’re down off their throne when things like this happen.”
