Star Wars: The Force Awakens doesn’t exactly need help selling tickets, but Jimmy Kimmel decided to help Disney reach beyond the film’s core young male fan base with a new trailer. And in an attempt to appeal to young women, Kimmel’s trailer takes on a much more romantic mood.
Kimmel debuted the The Force Awakens parody on Monday’s Star Wars edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live! The fake trailer transforms the story of Daisy Ridley’s Rey and John Boyega’s Finn into a wild romantic comedy where nothing can stand in their way — including older men like Han Solo.
