Great news for fans of Dancing with the Stars: longtime judge Len Goodman will return for Season 22.
The senior statesmen of the dais announced his decision to come back during a brief package that aired as part of Monday’s finale.
“Greetings, everyone. Len Goodman here. Now I’ve been watching the show from the U.K., and I must say everyone has been doing a fantastic job,” Goodman said in the taped segment. “Now you finalists, I want you to give it your all in these last dances. As for the pros, I’ve got a mention for you as well. Listen up: Len is coming back next season. And I don’t want any of your nonsense.”
In August, the show announced that Goodman would not return for Season 21 because of his schedule as a judge on the U.K.’s Strictly Come Dancing. But executive producer Rob Wade did say that “we will see Len in the ballroom again soon.”
It’s unclear for now whether the show will stick with a four-judge panel. Before Season 21, Goodman shared the dais with Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Julianne Hough.
Season 22 of Dancing with the Stars will begin in March.
