Can’t want to wait until the New Year for more Sherlock? Get your fix with six new photos for the Victorian special, Sherlock: The Abominable Bride.
It’s a much anticipated return for Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Watson (Martin Freeman), who last appeared in the third season, which debuted in 2014. This time, it’s a throwback to the late 19th century. Plot details haven’t been released, but Mary (Amanda Abbington), Inspector Lestrade (Rupert Graves), and Mrs. Hudson (Una Stubbs) will make appearances in the special; we get glimpses of the two women in the images below. There’s also an obscured glimpse of the titular bride, portrayed by Natasha O’Keeffe (Peaky Blinders).
