Welcome to the Spoiler Room, a safe place for spoiler addicts to come on a weekly basis to learn what’s coming next on their favorite shows and, hopefully, get a few of their own questions answered. If you want scoop on a specific show, send your questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
I need any spoiler about Dark Killian/Hook from Once Upon a Time! — TrueLove
In short, he’s not going to be struggling with the Darkness like Emma was. “As soon as the Darkness is within him again, he goes straight back to his vengeful pirate-y self, pre-Emma Hook, basically,” Jennifer Morrison says. “He’s operating from the Darkness, instead of the goodness that he’s fought for for so many hundreds of years. In the immediacy of it, he’s very resentful, but he’s operating out of that Darkness that’s within him.”
Will Tom be able to spring Liz free on The Blacklist? — Jeremy
He’s certainly going to try, but he’ll need some help from a surprising source. “Tom, who will do anything possible to save and exonerate Liz, will find himself aligned in a completely unexpected way with Ressler, and these two guys hate each other,” EP Jon Bokenkamp says. “There’s no love lost between those two guys. I would expect to see them perhaps unite in some sort of way to help Liz. It kills them both to have to do it. What happens when they recognize that they have the same agenda?”
Will we see more scenes between Mer and Riggs on Grey’s Anatomy? — Amanda
In light of Meredith’s discovery about Owen’s sister, any scenes between them will be fraught with even more tension. “There’s definitely some stuff where Meredith and Riggs butt heads,” Martin Henderson tells me. “He starts pushing back and starts getting quite frustrated with her and tempers start to flair. That starts to then threaten their ability to do their job and actually take care of their patients because of all the infighting. It becomes a sticky situation all around.”
I’m looking for some scoop on Felicity Smoak and her story for Arrow. Please tell me you have something on her? A PapaSmoak tidbit? Anything? — Trish
I can debunk one theory that’s been making the rounds: Damien Darhk is not the father! “We’re not taking that direction,” EP Wendy Mericle says. “We are actually figuring out Felicity’s father as we speak. It’s not going to be tied to H.I.V.E. It’s going to be something that is more personal, emotional, speaks directly to her story, and a big bombshell that’s going to be coming out — a big reveal between her and Oliver later in the story — and the story is going to really speak to that.”
Any scoop on Liam or Miranda you can give us Quantico fans? — Semaj
I have the skinny on Eliza Coupe’s new character, FBI Agent Hannah Wyland, who shows a new side to the FBI than what we’ve seen with Miranda and Liam. “She represents the type of agent the NATS will be in five years, versus the type they’ll be in 10 to 15, like Liam and Miranda,” says EP Josh Safran. “When we meet her in the midseason finale, she’s representative of the idea that you don’t actually have to lose your life to be an FBI agent. She’s vibrant, funny, goofy and fast. Hannah doesn’t stop who she is to fit into a suit, badge and gun. It’s a great dichotomy between the seriousness of Liam and Miranda and the hopefulness of the NATs. Those two things have always been clashing, and now we have Hannah in the middle as the bridge between the two. She’s got some connections to our characters. She’s not just from the outside world.”
Any teases for Blindspot’s midseason finale next week? — Sam
Though Zapata decided against helping Carter spy on Jane, “Carter’s not going to let her off the hook that easy,” executive producer Martin Gero teases, which could lead to news of her misdeeds getting out. Will the unit ever catch on that there’s a mole within their ranks? “Stay tuned,” Gero adds ominously.
I’m worried that Dean keeping his connection with the Darkness from Sam is going to cause a rift with the brothers on Supernatural. Help! — Dana
Yes, Dean is hiding something from his brother, but just keep in mind that the evil they’re fighting is much bigger than any secret. “It’s such a massive big bad that they’ve let loose that a lot of what’s going on this season [is] the brothers side-by-side working in parallel righting this wrong,” Jared Padalecki says. “We’re doing some cool stuff this season where the brothers [are] even starting to right past wrongs with each other. They’re starting to remind each other that they care about each other, that they’re there for each other and sorry about what happened.” I think it’s safe to say that the Winchester bond is safe for now.
Anything Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? — Genesis
Remember when Skye transformed into an Inhuman and killed Tripp in the process? That’s nothing compared to what’s in store this year, according to Clark Gregg. “I would say that this midseason finale has two shocking twists and both of them are bigger than anything that happened in last season’s midseason finale,” he says.
Why was Liv behind bars in the promo for the next iZombie? — Deirdre
The stalker brains that Liv eats make her do some pretty crazy things, which will be an issue when there’s a severe lack of available brains for her to digest in the slammer. “To a lot of people, Liv is an unassuming character,” Rose McIver says. “She’s pale and odd, and they don’t really realize that she could be such a threat, so her being behind bars is actually a huge risk to the other inmates, but also to her secret and people finding out what’s actually going on with her, so it’s pretty high stakes stuff.”
Hi! Ay scoop about Castle? — Fred
A case that lands on Beckett and Castle’s radar in the fall finale has a connection to LOKSAT. But it’s actually the cryptic text that Beckett received from Vikram last week that puts Castle on the trail of what’s really going on, leading to a decision that could jeopardize what’s left of their marriage.
Best news I’ve heard all week: The more footage I see from this Arrow-Flash crossover, the more excited I get for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
