Melissa Rauch’s raunchy gymnastics comedy The Bronze kicked off the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, sparking buzz about the Big Bang Theory star’s foul-mouthed performance and a scene that’s been described as “one of the raunchiest sex sequences in movie history.”
Relativity Studios almost immediately acquired distribution rights, but as the studio filed for bankruptcy this summer, The Bronze is now being distributed by Sony Pictures Classics.
Now, the (very explicit) first trailer for the film has arrived, introducing Rauch’s former Olympic medalist Hope Ann Greggory, who, after a career-ending injury, has returned to her small Ohio hometown.
Sebastian Stan, Gary Cole, Haley Lu Richardson, and Thomas Middleditch round out the cast.
The Bronze will hit theaters this spring.
