Chelsea Handler’s back: Netflix has released a promo for the comedian’s upcoming documentary series, Chelsea Does, that features her reminding everyone who she is — the former host of E!’s Chelsea Lately and a comic whose past work includes Netflix special Uganda Be Kidding Me: Live along with a book of the same name — and showing off her “serious side.” (Spoiler: It’s not actually that serious.)
Netflix announced their deal with Handler back in June 2014. It includes a stand-up special, this documentary series, and, as the streaming service said in a statement at the time, “the first-ever talk show for the global on-demand generation” set to premiere in 2016.

Although the promo doesn’t give too many details about the upcoming documentary series Handler did reveal a few details to EW when we spoke with her in September 2014: “I’m going to do stuff that I don’t know a lot about, and go and ask the questions people are too embarassed to ask that I have no problem asking,” she said. “It’s more interesting to me to find out stuff like that, and I think that people that are fans of mine want to move on and grow up anyway, in a fun way.”
Watch the promo above, and see the series when it begins streaming in January.
