Alan Arkin is at home recovering after suffering a minor stroke earlier this week.
The Argo actor, 81, was hospitalized Monday and released Tuesday after being cleared by the medical staff.
“He’s actually laughing today,” a rep for Arkin tells PEOPLE. “He’s at home, he’s fine. It was a mini-stroke, there’s nothing wrong.”
Arkin, who’s been nominated for Oscars four times, won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2007 for his turn in Little Miss Sunshine.
The legendary actor is currently married to Suzanne Newlander, and has three children from previous marriages.
