The Wombats share a playlist of old and new favorites

Over the last decade of touring, indie trio the Wombats have earned a reputations as Grade A purveyors of electric live sets. Recently, their studio sound seems to have come to full realization, blending pop, electro, and rock sensibilities as seamlessly as their concerts. Their 2015 release, Glitterbug, as the title suggests, shimmers, delving deeper into synth-jams and poppy hooks.

Today, the group’s bassist Tord Øverland Knudsen sheds light on their musical DNA by sharing a playlist of new and old favorites — and adds weight to the argument that the Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” will emerge victorious as Single of the Year.
