Justin Bieber: World tour announced

Bieber week continued on Wednesday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show when Justin Bieber announced that he will go on a world tour in support of his new album Purpose, due out Friday.

The 58-date tour begins March 9 in Seattle, and will run through July, when he’ll end at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Tickets go on sale next week, but pre-sale begins today on EllenTV.com.

Bieber will next be seen performing on Friday at Los Angeles’ Staples Center for “An Evening With Justin Bieber,” a release celebration during which he’ll premiere the short film, Purpose: The Movement, perform, and participate in a live Q&A.
