Blake Shelton is following in the footsteps of stars like Nick Jonas, Mark Wahlberg, Will Smith, and Justin Timberlake: Nickelodeon announced Monday that the Voice coach and country music singer is set to host 2016’s Kids’ Choice Awards.

“I’ve been on countless stages throughout my life, but none have promised the madness, excitement, and endless slime as Nick’s Kids’ Choice Awards, which is undoubtedly the ultimate party for kids,” Shelton said in a statement. “There is only one team here, and it’s Team Kids’ Choice. So bring it on, Nickelodeon!”

Although Shelton hasn’t hosted the Kids’ Choice Awards before, he has co-hosted the Academy of Country Music Awards for the past five years and made his Saturday Night Live hosting debut earlier this year.
