It’s finally happened: We’ve reached peak Jimmy Fallon.

On Tuesday’s Tonight Show, Alanis Morissette and Meghan Trainor stopped by to cluck “Ironic” while dressed as chickens. As you do. The four-piece band, known as the Jagged Little Chicks — a play on Jagged Little Pill, the album on which the track is featured — bawked their way through the ’90s classic like pros, leading us to wonder how many takes were required to get through it all without laughing. Or maybe this is simply their true calling?
