While Star Wars Battlefront has been touting its return to familiar locations and characters, the game will also be giving players a glimpse of the future. And the latest teaser for the game showcases the battle that awaits players on Jakku.
The new planet, which will be featured in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, will also be available to players of Battlefront before the film even releases. All players will be able to step onto the sandy surface of Jakku on Dec. 8, though those who pre-order the game will receive the content early on Dec. 1. The teaser hints at the shattered remains of the battle viewers glimpse in the The Force Awakens trailers, as the game’s content is set 29 years before the film.
The extra content will be free to all players and not counted among the game’s $50 season pass, which includes four content packs and early access to those expansions before they become available to all players.
Battlefront‘s beta, played by more than nine million players, offered a look at the playable battlefields on Hoth, Tatooine, and Sullust. The full game will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Nov. 17.
