The Girl on the Train continues to pick up steam with the addition of Lisa Kudrow to its star-studded cast.
EW has confirmed that the Friends and The Comeback actress is joining Emily Blunt, Rebecca Ferguson, Jared Leto, Haley Bennett, Justin Theroux, Edgar Ramirez, and Allison Janney in the psychological thriller adapted from Paula Hawkins’ bestselling novel.
Directed by Tate Taylor (The Help) from a script by Erin Cressida Wilson, The Girl on the Train centers on a lonely divorcée (Blunt) who gets embroiled in a mystery involving a seemingly perfect couple whose house she passes on her daily commute.
Kudrow will play a supporting role. Her other upcoming films include Neighbors 2 and Table 19.
The Girl on the Train is scheduled to arrive next fall from DreamWorks and Disney.
