Back in April, YouTube personality sWooZie released “School Bully,” a partially animated video about bullying that has since been watched more than 4.6 million times.
“I experienced bullying pretty much from kindergarten to 11th grade,” he told PEOPLE at Stream Con on Saturday. “People don’t understand. It’s suffocating when you have to wake up everyday knowing you’re going to get bullied no matter what, from multiple sources too.”
As sWooZie explained, the day he stopped getting bullied felt like getting “out of jail.” And while the response to his video has been strong, there are some people he still hasn’t heard from: the bullies themselves.
“I want to hear from the bullies. I want to hear, ‘I used to bully this kid, I didn’t realize it until I saw the video,'” he said. “Come on, bullies, stop it.”
