YouTube stars Joey Graceffa, iJustine, and GloZell took to the stage on Saturday afternoon at Stream Con to talk about what makes YouTube special, their inspirations, and upcoming projects. Here are the highlights from the panel.

GloZell was inspired to join YouTube after seeing iJustine’s videos

It turned out that GloZell’s biggest inspiration was sitting right next to her on stage. The comedian, who was doing stand-up before setting up her YouTube channel, surprised Justine Ezarik (a.k.a. iJustine) by saying that she was a big reason that GloZell got the idea to join YouTube.

“I was watching TV and there was a girl acting a fool,” GloZell explained. “And I was like, ‘I could do that.’ That girl was Justine.”

Joey Graceffa might be writing a second book

When asked about what he had in the works, Graceffa revealed he’s working on a second season of his YouTube series Storytellers, developing a murder mystery involving YouTubers, and teased that there “may be a second book.” Graceffa just released his first book, In Real Life: My Journey to a Pixelated World, in 2015. In it, he writes about his sexuality and his family’s struggles among other topics.

His sci-fi web series The Fourth Door just began streaming on Verizon’s go90 app.

iJustine ‘s most embarrassing moment was when the world thought she cry-farted

iJustine took the cake when asked about embarrassing moments. She talked about a video she uploaded of her crying after discovering that Steve Jobs had died, and a sound her shoe makes in it sounds like a fart.

They’re all excited about Youtube Red

YouTube’s new subscription service, YouTube Red, which gets rid off all advertisements for $10 a month, launched on Oct. 28. Part of the profits go to funding YouTubers, so naturally the panelists are in favor.

“Everyone always freaks out about change, but YouTube Red is just an extension of YouTube,” Graceffa said.

“This is our life. We need to make money,” iJustine added.

Expect an iJustine and GloZell collaboration very soon

Both of the stars talked about how much they admired one another, but have yet to work together. That will change very soon though! iJustine promised the two would work on a collaboration next week.

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this post listed Shane Dawson as attending the panel. He was not in New York for Stream Con.
