Breaking into the music industry is hard, but when you have a megastar like Taylor Swift on your side, success comes a little easier.
On Saturday’s episode of Fuse’s Revealed, Ed Sheeran talks about how opening for Taylor’s Red tour in 2013 helped his career early on.
“She’s Miss America. There’s no one really bigger than her in America, and if she says she likes anything, people kind of take notice of it,” Sheeran says.
Following the Red tour, the two singer-songwriters – who collaborated on Swift’s single “Everything Has Changed” – went on to sell out world tours and earn Grammy nominations for their albums x and 1989. The two have also remained friends, exchanging gifts and snapping photos of each other to share with their millions of Instagram followers.
