What better way to spend Valentine’s Day than with sex, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll? Vinyl, HBO’s new drama from Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger, and Terence Winter, has scored the holiday premiere date, the network announced on Thursday.
Bobby Cannavale stars as Richie Finestra on the show, the president of a struggling record label in the 1970s just as punk, disco, and hip-hop are ascending to the mainstream. The cast includes Olivia Wilde, Juno Temple, James Jagger, Ray Romano, Ato Essandoh, Max Casella, P.J. Byrne, J.C. MacKenzie, Jack Quaid, Paul Ben-Victor, and Birgitte Hjort Sørensen.
Vinyl begins its 10-episode season with a two-hour premiere Sunday, Feb. 14 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO. Scorsese himself directed the pilot.
