Wizarding World of Harry Potter virtual tour: Universal Studios Hollywood launches interactive

Posted on

Want to see what California’s soon-to-be-opened “Wizarding World of Harry Potter” is going to look like, but you’re rubbish at Divination?

Universal Studios Hollywood has got you covered: The studio theme park launched the official website for the West Coast Wizarding World today, including a virtual tour of the land.

The new park, which was announced this June as a left coast follow-up to the wildly popular Orlando location, will open in Spring 2016; EW exclusively unveiled the key art last month.

The virtual tour takes viewers across a parchment map through the world of Harry Potter as recreated in the park, including beloved establishments such as Zonko’s Joke Shop, the Three Broomsticks, and Honeydukes sweet shop. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint provide commentary on the virtual tour along with Mark Woodbury, the President of Universal Creative for Universal Parks and Resorts.

The park will also feature the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey 3-D ride, an immersive ride that takes passengers through familiar scenes and settings from the films, and the Flight of the Hippogriff ride, which will be the first outdoor roller coaster at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Check out the virtual tour here.
