Comedian Eddie Izzard is a busy man. Not only is he helping to develop Junior Bender for NBC, he’s also in the midst of a massive tour called Force Majeure, which launched all the way back in March 2013. Izzard’s goal is to play a show in each of the 50 United States, and he’ll tick off a few more boxes when he returns to the U.S. for a “Southern Swing” beginning at the end of November.
The third leg of Izzard’s U.S. run begins in Miami on Nov. 28 and takes him through Charleston, South Carolina, on Dec. 18. Tickets for his stop in Athens, Georgia, go on sale Thursday, with the rest of the dates available on Friday. The full list dates is below, and you can get more ticket info at Izzard’s official site.
When all is said and done, Izzard will have visited over 25 countries and covered the entire United States. He doesn’t let language get in his way either: The Englishman has done sets in French and German, and is working on learning Spanish, Russian, and Arabic in order to translate his jokes in other parts of the world.

Check out a clip from the Force Majeure tour below. It’s a revival of one of Izzard’s signature bits, but with a twist. For those who already love Izzard, it’s a delightful callback, but anybody coming to his humor for the first time will be undoubtedly tickled as well. And it also shows how tapped in he is to the zeitgeist — after all, has there been a better time to be doing Star Wars jokes?
