The Flash‘s Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) seems destined to become comic book villain Killer Frost. While the season 1 finale gave a glimpse of her icy transformation, the actress debuted a clear look during her appearance this week on The Talk.
“I’m such a girl, and I loved getting dressed up in that look,” she said. “We started working on the look a couple of months before it actually shot. Our first suit was a one-piece, kind of like Catwoman, but it didn’t feel quite right. So we changed it to be a top and these really cool leather pants. And the hair was awesome; it started as this short, little pixie wig, and we just kept adding more and more hair, as you do. It’s great, I’m really excited.”
In the comics, Caitlin Snow becomes the remorseless Killer Frost after receiving the ability to absorb heat from living beings and project ice. Funny enough, she’s often at odds with Firestorm, while The Flash series pegs him as Snow’s fiancé, Ronnie (Robbie Amell).
Watch Panabaker’s appearance on The Talk below.
We first got a flash of Panabaker’s transformation when Barry (Grant Gustin) sped through the wormhole to travel back in time and save his mother. It’s unclear how Killer Frost will factor into the story moving ahead, but all this talk of multiversity seems to point to a villainous Earth-2 doppelgänger for Snow.
