Comedy Central is seeking its next round of laughs in Detroit.
The network announced on Tuesday that it has ordered 10 episodes of Detroiters, a scripted comedy executive-produced by Jason Sudeikis.
The show, which is slated to premiere in early 2017, stars Richardson (who plays Richard Splett on Veep) and Robinson (who’s a writer on Saturday Night Live) as a pair of ad men who want to restore their decaying hometown to previous glory. Sudeikis will guest-star in multiple episodes as a successful car exec that the pair are aiming to sign as their first top-shelf client.
