Beyonce gave a rare interview for the new issue of BEAT Magazine, reportedly providing her answers via email. The highly controlled pop star offered up a grand total of 57 words in the cover story preview shared by BEAT Monday.
The 34-year-old artist revealed that the song she sings in the shower is “Holy Ghost” by Kim Burrell, “Jugg” by Fetty Wap was recently stuck in her head, and she opts for “extra tomato sauce and jalapenos” when ordering pizza. Never one to take it easy, Beyonce wrote she manages to “Netflix and chill” rather than Netflix or chill, and explained that fear tastes like “success” to her.
“I have accomplished nothing without a little taste of fear in my mouth,” she wrote.
Perhaps most important, however, is the news that even Beyonce aspires to be Beyonce. Asked by BEAT which era of herself she would dress up as for Halloween, Bey said, “Destiny’s Child Survivor era with the army fatigues. Or maybe Bootylicious with the gold tooth and pink tips in my hair.”
Beyonce Instagrammed photos from the cover shoot this past weekend, adding 10 words to her arsenal when she captioned a shot, “I sneezed on the BEAT and the BEAT got sicker,” nodding to her own lyrics from “Partition.”
