Tracy Morgan made a triumphant return to Saturday Night Live as this weekend’s host, and some very special guests were on hand to welcome the comedian back to Studio 8H.
Morgan’s opening monologue became a 30 Rock reunion with appearances from former costars Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Jane Krakowski, and Jack McBrayer, who all reprised their characters for a bit about a “prophetic” 2012 episode of the hit series. (And, because this was supposed to be 2012, there were teasers for Smash and Animal Practice at the bottom of the screen.)

Morgan, who was severely injured in a June 2014 car crash, also told the crowd how happy he was to be back on the SNL stage. “As you can see, everything is going to be just fine,” he told the crowd. “I’ve got my family here, my cast, my crew, and I’ve got my Obi-Wan Kenobi, [SNL creator] Lorne Michaels. So let’s be funny.”
At the monologue’s end, the 30 Rock cast ran out and embraced him as the crowd cheered. Watch in the video below.
