Exactly 92 years ago, Walt and Roy Disney founded what would later become Walt Disney Pictures, a studio that’s since produced hundreds of animated movies including now-classics like Cinderella, Fantastia, and The Lion King. On Friday, Disney released a new video celebrating the studio’s 92nd birthday, taking fans on a 92-second ride through those movies.
The video, posted by the official Disney Twitter, includes snippets from The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, Pinocchio, The Beauty and the Beast, and dozens more Disney animated films, all set to Thomas Bergensen’s affecting — and appropriately epic — “Starchild.”
The Disney Animation official Twitter account also celebrated the studio’s birthday by posting a time-lapse video of Eric Goldberg, whose animating credits include Hercules and The Princess and the Frog, sketching up a collage of memorable Disney characters, including Frozen‘s Olaf and Aladdin‘s Genie.
