Tracy Morgan is returning to Studio 8H to host Saturday Night Live… just don’t call it his home when it doesn’t even have a bowling alley.
Morgan and current castmember Bobby Moynihan reintroduce Morgan to the SNL stage with the promise that no other episodes will need to follow this season once Morgan is “done with it.” He and Moynihan reflect on the 30 Rock actor’s past with the show, which Morgan more than remembers well, including the money Moynihan (or Horatio Sanz) owes him.
Morgan hosted the show in 2009, and is returning to SNL following his recovery after a fatal traffic accident that left him critically injured. Morgan recently also tweeted about his first time performing stand-up since the crash at New York’s Comedy Cellar earlier this week.
Morgan will be hosting SNL on Oct. 17 with musical guest Demi Lovato.
