Before Donald Trump hits the Saturday Night Live stage in Manhattan, he’ll match wits with Jimmy Kimmel in Brooklyn.
The Republican presidential candidate — who will host SNL on Nov. 8 and who has recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert — will be a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! the week of Oct. 19, when Kimmel takes his show back to his old stomping grounds.
This weekend’s SNL host, Tracy Morgan, also will join Kimmel at the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Howard Gilman Opera House. The 30 Rock vet, who appeared at the Emmys last month, did stand-up Monday night for the first time since the accident that put him in a coma last June.
The Oct. 20 broadcast of JKL will feature a special performance from Tidal X: 1020, a philanthropic concert taking place at Barclays Center that features such acts as Jay Z, Beyonce, Usher, and Nicki Minaj. Other musical guests that will appear during JKL’s five night of shows include Ryan Adams, Esperanza Spalding, Public Enemy and Late Show with David Letterman band leader Paul Shaffer.
Bill Murray, Bradley Cooper, Jay Z, Howard Stern, Michael J. Fox and Misty Copeland have previously been announced as guests for the week.
