Usain Bolt, who has won over 15 Olympic gold medals and world championships, faced one of his most unique challenges on Wednesday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. It seems his desire to impress the titular host left him in the dust of his much younger competition.

A video of 8-year-old Demarjay Smith, who spends his days motiviating friends, family, and neighbors about keeping healthy, garnered millions of views across social media platforms, and got the attention of Ellen DeGeneres and her crew. Smith was invited to be on Ellen, where he challenged the assumedly healthy Bolt to a race.

Watch the video below to see the two face off.

Bolt didn’t just appear to take on his latest challenger, however. He also sat down with DeGeneres and spoke about preparing for the Rio De Janiero 2016 Olympic Games, whether they’ll be his last, and what plans he may have for after they’re completed.
