The tech drama Halt and Catch Fire will return for a 10-episode third season, AMC announced Thursday.
The series, which stars Lee Pace, Mackenzie Davis, Scoot McNairy, and Kerry Bishé, is set in the early 1980s, when the computer age kicked off in Texas’ Silicon Prairie. In its second season, the show saw the story move away from the rise of the personal computer to the development of the Internet, online gaming, and communication. And moving forward, co-creators and writers Christopher Cantwell and Christopher C. Rogers, who have been newly named showrunners, say the third season will see the main cast head to Silicon Valley in California.

“Much in the way that Halt is about underdogs and overcoming convention and breaking new ground,” Cantwell and Rogers said in a press release, “the story of season 3 will endeavor to further stretch the medium and challenge the form.”
Halt and Catch Fire returns summer of 2016.
