Robyn sings under a pseudonym for new film 'Partisan'

Posted on

Partisan is an upcoming straight-to-DVD film about a child assassin starring Black Swan‘s Vincent Cassel, but the real excitement might be in the movie’s music.

Partisan is scored by Oneohtrix Point Never’s Daniel Lopatin, but other artists have also contributed songs to the film under pseudonyms. “The Hardest Thing To Do,” for example, is credited to Tony Promo and Nixxie, but a representative for Robyn confirmed to EW that she performs on the track as Nixxie (“Tony Promo” is Joseph Mount from Metronomy). Other such pseudonymous contributors include Sebastian Tellier (as “Albert Mondo”) and All Seeing I’s Jarvis Cocker Jason Buckle (“Spann N the Werx”).

Listen to “The Hardest Thing To Do” here. Partisan is available digitally and on DVD Oct. 14.
