Billboard has named Lady Gaga this year’s Woman of the Year, the magazine announced on Tuesday.

Lady Gaga will be honored at the Women in Music event, which recognizes the biggest names in the industry, and it will be televised for the first time ever this year. The decade-old event will be held on Dec. 11 at Cipriani Midtown in New York City, and aired later on Lifetime. Even more honorees are expected to be released in the coming weeks, according to Billboard

The Grammy-winner teamed up with Tony Bennett last year for their collaborative jazz album Cheek to Cheek, which garnered a Grammy award. Most recently, the artist released her video for “Til It Happens to You,” a song for the upcoming documentary The Hunting Ground, with more information on that available here.

Lady Gaga is also set to star in the next installment of Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story, set to premiere next month. “I’ve just been weeping while I’m here because I have returned to something I’ve believed in so much, which is the art of darkness,” she told EW in her recent cover story. “It’s not something that everyone understands, but, for the people that do — Horror Story fans, my fans — there is a true connection between us, and it’s a language within itself.”

The Women in Music event will be televised Dec. 18 on Lifetime.
