A&E is set to premiere a three-part miniseries titled The Enfield Haunting, based on a real-life story and adapted from Guy Lyon Playfair’s The House is Haunted, Oct. 9.
The King’s Speech‘s Timothy Spall, Emma‘s Juliet Stevenson, and Frost/Nixon‘s Matthew Macfadyen star in the series, which follows a family terrozied by a poltergeist circa 1977 London. This same story is also going to be the subject of the upcoming Conjuring sequel, The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist.
