Kanye West, Pharrell appear in Daft Punk documentary trailer

Posted on

Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter tend to be a little bit secretive.

The guys behind renowned dance duo Daft Punk have rarely shown their faces, famously showing up to red carpets and doing interviews underneath their robot-like helmets. But a new BBC Worldwide documentary, Daft Punk Unchained, offers a better look at them.

In a new trailer for the documentary, which aired on France’s Canal+ in June and is gearing up for its worldwide debut, Kanye West, Nile Rodgers, Pharrell, and Paul Williams all show up to sing the praises of the dance music leaders.

Daft Punk Unchained will feature interviews with the duo dating back to 1996. Giorgio Moroder, Michel Gondry, Peter Lindbergh, Leiji Matsumoto and Pete Tong will also appear in the Hervé Martin Delpierre-directed film.

No release date yet for the film, but check out the trailer above.
