TLC is far from saying goodbye to the Duggar Family.
EW has confirmed that production will begin soon on several specials involving Jill Duggar Dillard, 24, and Jessa Duggar Seewald, 22. One of the specials will air by year’s end while two more could bow in 2016, the AP reported.
The cameras are expected to follow Jill and her husband Derick, who are preparing to move to El Salvador with their infant son to do missionary work.
“We know that our audience is really excited about what’s been going on with Jill and Jessa as they move into young adulthood,” said TLC executive vice president and general manager Nancy Daniels. “And now they’re both at the precipice of big changes. With what was happening in their lives in the next few months, it felt like now is the time [for the specials], and we got going pretty quickly.”
Josh Duggar, the oldest of the Duggar siblings, who admitted to having fondled his younger sisters when he was a teenager. will not participate in the specials. The scandal led to the cancellation of19 Kids and Counting this past July.
