RJ Mitte's cerebral palsy is 'a strength': 'It's knowledge'

Posted on

Breaking Bad fans recognize RJ Mitte as Walter White Jr., the breakthrough role that launched him into the public eye when the award-winning series grew in popularity (big time). But, he has someone very special to thank for helping start his career: His little sister.

For EW’s Greatest Story Ever Told video series, Mitte explains how he was first discovered with a little help from his Lucille Ball-look-alike sister, and why his cerebral palsy is definitely not a weakness.

“A lot of people are very negative and they see something that they don’t understand and they see something that looks like a weakness,” Mitte says, “but it’s actually a strength. It’s knowledge.”

Check out the video about for the full narrative.
