HBO is turning to Judd Apatow for another New York-set comedy.

The network confirmed on Wednesday that it has ordered a half-hour pilot from the Girls executive producer. The prospective show, titled Crashing, stars Pete Holmes as a sweet-hearted comedian who winds up sleeping on the couches of his comic friends in New York after his wife leaves him.

Crashing will commence shooting in New York in November.

Apatow is executive producing and directing the pilot. Holmes, the comedian/writer/podcaster who hosted TBS’ The Pete Holmes Show from 2013 to 2014, is also serving as an executive producer alongside Apatow and Dave Rath.

Deadline first reported the news.
