Ready for more Shondaland scoop?
On Wednesday, we revealed our epic photo of the casts and creative minds of Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder. But what you may have missed is that in the upcoming Shondaland issue, the cast shot is curated with scoop on each of the 33 characters for the shows’ upcoming seasons.
The good news is that you don’t have to wait until the issue hits stands on Friday. We revealed four scoops on Thursday thanks to YOU: Fans tweeted at @EW with the hashtag #EWTGIT with the name of the character they wanted scoop for, and the results are below.
Scandal’s Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington)
Finally getting to be with Fitz, “Olivia finds that every single thing about her life has changed in unexpected ways,” Rhimes says — though that may not entirely be a good thing.
Grey’s Anatomy’s Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo)
Meredith is moving back into her mother’s house with her sisters Amelia and Maggie while “throwing herself into her work and her kids,” Pompeo says, teasing an upcoming promotion for the doc.
How to Get Away with Murder’s Annalise Keating (Viola Davis)
As Annalise tries to keep the students from discovering that Rebecca is dead, she “will interact with someone from her past,” Nowalk says, hinting that this season unearths more of her history as she faces the consequences of her season 1 actions.
How to Get Away with Murder’s Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch)
In the wake of Rebecca’s disappearance, “Wes is in a much angrier, distrustful place,” says Nowalk. “Is this because he killed her?”
Grey’s Anatomy (8 p.m. ET), Scandal (9 p.m. ET) and How to Get Away With Murder (10 p.m. ET) return Thursday, Sept. 24 on ABC. For even more Shondaland scoop, check out Spoiler Room on Friday.
