Uzo Aduba has already shared a stage with Taylor Swift once before, walking the runway at the singer’s MetLife Stadium show in July. Now, the Orange Is The New Black star has showed up on stage at another Swift concert, and this time, she joined Swift in a duet.
Even though Aduba is perhaps best known for playing Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren on OITNB, she also studied classical voice and has performed on Broadway, and she showed off her vocal skills at the Staples Center on Saturday, when she and Swift gave a special performance of Swift’s song “White Horse.” “That moment when @UzoAduba comes out and sings ‘White Horse’ and makes everyone in the arena fall in love with her,” Swift tweeted.
Aduba wasn’t the only performer to make a surprise appearance, either. Mary J. Blige performed two of her songs, “Doubt” and “Family Affair,” with Swift joining in on vocals.
Matt LeBlanc, Chris Rock, and Sean O’Pry (the actor who starred in Swift’s “Blank Space” video) also joined Swift on stage, which means that we can add them to the already long list of stars Swift has brought out as part of her 1989 World Tour.
