Sony sets dates for two Bad Boys sequels, moves 'Ghostbusters' release date

Missed having Detectives Burnett and Lowrey in your life? Well get ready for not one, but two more doses of the cop duo.

Sony announced release dates for 16 films through 2019, including two Bad Boys sequels. Bad Boys 3, which will be directed by Joe Carnahan — not Michael Bay — is scheduled for Feb. 7, 2017, while Bad Boys 4 will kick down the door on July 3, 2019.

Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters entering your lives one week sooner, hitting theaters July 15, 2016.

Also of note: The live-action Barbie feature, being written by Diablo Cody, arrives June 2, 2017; A Jumanji remakes stomps in on Christmas 2016; Edgar Wright’s new original project, Baby Driver, pulls up March 17, 2017; Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence’s Passengers is pegged for Dec. 21, 2016; and the adaptation of the beloved Playstation franchise Uncharted has been delayed one year, now slated for June 30, 2017.
