Dionne Warwick paid tribute to Bobbi Kristina Brown during Sunday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, just hours after the 22-year-old died.
“She was a sweetheart. She will be missed, that’s for sure. She was a good girl. She was a good little girl, that’s for sure,” Warwick, who is the cousin of Brown’s late mother, Whitney Houston, told host Andy Cohen.
When asked how Warwick and her family are able to cope with both the death of Brown and her mother, the singer said it wasn’t easy. “I think it’s because of our faith and strength in faith,” she said. “Knowing that Bobbi is now with a much bigger and more powerful person or thing than we’ll ever know. She’s in much better hands now.”
Brown died on Sunday following a long hospitalization after she was found unresponsive in her bathtub. “She is finally at peace in the arms of God,” the Houston family said in statement Sunday. “We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”
