If you’ve ever sent a tweet and then noticed an errant typo or a bad link, you might be able to do something about it soon — and you might have Kim Kardashian to thank for it.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star told her 33 million Twitter followers Friday that she emailed the social media service lamenting that tweets can’t be edited after they’re posted.
“I just emailed Twitter to see if they can add an edit feature so that when u misspell something u don’t have to delete & repost Let’s see…” she wrote.
That tweet got a response from Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey, who called it a “great idea” and said the Twitter team is “always looking at ways to make things faster and easier.”
Kardashian then tweeted again to thank him and added the hashtag #FounderOfTwitterUnderstands.
The feature is something Kardashian probably would have liked to have available last month, when she misspelled fashion designer Giorgio Armani’s name in a tweet. (#Whoops.)
