How do you get comfortable on a show about death? According to the cast of MTV’s Screamyou don’t.

“You’re never, ever safe on the show, and everyone knows that,” says actor John Karna (Noah Foster). But he’s got a way around that: “I think it’d be great to pitch a show where all the people who die are just up in heaven having a great time, and it’s like a sitcom.”

Karna and co-stars Connor Weil (Will Belmont), Willa Fitzgerald (Emma Duvall), and Amadeus Serafini (Kieran Wilcox) stopped by the Entertainment Weekly Lounge at Comic-Con, where they did their best to “savor [their] time together” before one of them falls victim to the killer — unless one of them is the killer. They also talked about adapting the horror franchise for a new audience and imagined a few new traits for their characters. Who says Fitzgerald can’t play the A/V geek?
