The creator of Empire had a few choice words after his acclaimed Fox hit was snubbed by Emmy voters Thursday.

Hollywood insiders were surprised that Empire didn’t make the cut among the top seven dramas on the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards’ nominations list this morning. Then Daniels tweeted the short Instagram video with the hashtags “#canfinallypostthis #timetoberealagain #emmyniceguyoverwith.”

Appearing with Empire actor Jussie Smollett, with both looking quite amused, Daniels noted, “People say I have to be politically correct on Instagram…”

“You have to be nice, you can’t be–” Smollet says.

“F–k these motherf–kers!” Daniels shoots back.
